Cyberbullying has hit the modeling community it seems, former Vogue model and cover girls

Liskula Cohen has filed suit against Search Google

over remarks that were posted online using Google’s personal blogging and discussion platform Blogger.

Madame Cohen got upset that the blogger called her “skanky” and an “old hag”.

Cohen had this to say…

“I’m tall, I’m blond, I’ve been modeling for many years, and people get jealous,” she said. “If I had to deal with everyone who is jealous, I wouldn’t have time to do anything else.”

Cohen, 36 now, was a top fashion magazine and runway model working for such names as Versace and Armani.

A blogger titled “Anonymous” said in one entry: “She’s a psychotic, lying, whoring…skank”. The blogger added that Cohen “may have been hot 10 years ago” but that “desperation seeps from her soul, if she even has one”.

Cohen said her depiction as a “promiscuous woman who is filthy, disgusting, foul and a whore” had damaged her “reputation and desirability for endorsing products”.

Cohen wants the New York courts to force Google to tell them the identity of the blogger, New York courts usually do not force websites to give up the names of anonymous users.

From the Washington post: Canadian model Liskula Cohen has sued Google for a number of snarky remarks that were made by a blogger using the company’s Blogger service. The NY Daily News reports that the former Vogue cover girl has been called ’skanky’ and ‘an old hag’ by an anonymous blogger on a website called Skanks in NYC (could be deemed NSFW).

The defamation suit, filed in Manhattan, seeks a court order compelling Google and its Blogger service to identify the anonymous blogger. Google declined to discuss any specifics, only responding to the claim by saying they sympathize with victims of cyberbullying but “take great care to respect privacy concerns and will only provide information about a user in response to a subpoena or other court order”, so we’ll leave you with a quote from Cohen instead read the rest

Hey all, Happy new year to all the hot models who read this blog, just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the NEW modeling.net website.

Next week Modeling.net will launcha brand new site that is just incredible!

For 6 months now the programming crew has been working on a brand new, kick ass, modeling website for modeling.net The features are hot!

Aspiring and established models will be able to set up profiles with image galleries that can hold up to 500 pics! yep, each model can upload hundreds of images! Video uploads will be added shortly and the site is setup as a community where everyone can add articles, posts and network.

There will be a section where every model can even publish her/his own tips for others as well as other informational articles that can in fact even be placed on the modeling home page for all to see.

We want this to be a great modeling community and we need all of you to accomplish that. Did I mention, It’s all free. Yep, hundreds of photos, videos, articles, etc… that you want to add to your online profile will all be free.

Thursday night I attended a movie screening for the Upcoming Indie feature “One Hour Fantasy Girl” from John Paul Rice and No Restrictions Entertainment.

The movie theater was packed for the show and after wards we had a few hours to talk and hang out with the cast and crew as well as munch on sushi and drink some wine. It was a really nice event and a ton of fun.

A bit of info about “One Hour Fantasy Girl”  - Starring: Kelly-Ann Tursi, Jon Morgan Woodward, Joe Luckay, Paul D. Nguyen, Kalena Knox, Phillip Gay, John Buckley Gordon Written and Directed by Edgar Michael Bravo.

The film is about the One hour fantasy girl, Kelly-Ann Tursi and herrather dark life as a Dominatrix / Fantasy Girl / No sex prostitute. Kelli will tease you and whip you while giving you a good amount of “I really don’t want to be here and hate this” attitude, but will not have sex with her johns. The movie has a good amount of plot twists with an ending that I can truelly say I would have never guessed.

It starts out as an easy enough boy falls for hooker / bad girl type story where you really expect a somewhat happy ending, but the plot twists and turns.

John Paul Rice talked about the making of his film as well as the film casting process. He actually cast some of the lead roles from a casting & auditions site I am very familiar with which is Explore Talent.  The word is Explore Talent will also be used to cast his new movie “The Boy Who Couldn’t Say No“.

Agyness Deyn has has a great year in 2008. The supermodel appeared in numerous editorial and magazine covers and in May Agyness Deyn was honored with a mannequin in her own image to be viewed in stores everywhere.

The Explore Talent Modeling and casting event at Sunset one was a ton of fun. Sunset One was packed and if you didn’t get there early, it may not have been easy to get in.

Many directors, casting agents and industry pros were in attendance. The club was packed with some hot models from just about every area of the business.

There were many playboy models, high fashion, commercial and a few porn stars made an appearance as well. Celebrities that I saw in attendance included Tom Green, Arsenio Hall, the cast of Sunset Tan and many others from various TV and Reality TV shows.

There were Go-Go dancers painted with the Explore Talent logo dancing on stands. The dancers were top less, other than the body paint and a few well placed stickies.

So, Mckey won the coveted spot of America’s Next Top Model for the last cycle, which was ANTM cycle 11. That win came as no surprise to anyone who may have followed the show as Mckey pretty much won just about everything and had never even been up for elimination. Half way through the show, we all already new the finish.

She really is a gorgeous girl and kinda reminds me of Linda Evangelista back in the day.

Even if you aren’t a top model yet, you any wanna look like one and what better way than to drive a slick sports car. There are a few great sports cars but for some reason Porsche always hits my mind first when I think of cool, fast and yes… hot cars.

From the old school Porsche 911 to the new 2009 Cayenne AWD sports utility, the Porsche screams style all the way down the highway.

Shopping for hot rides can be lots of fun, but as always, you gotta make sure you get the best deal around on your Hot car as well as get all the facts about the model you are looking to buy. Luckily, the internet makes finding the specs, reviews and deals a piece of cheesecake.

A site called thecarconnection.com puts all the auto info you would ever want or need right in front of you with tons of great porsche info like the available colors and trims, pricing and yes, an in depth and honest auto review of every model available from Porsche and other auto manufactures.

This is the Cayenne, the Porsche SUV - I really want this car! O.K, the Cayenne is not as slick as say the sports car models, but it sure would be a sick ride to the grocery store. The 2009 Cayenne has a V-8 and I have even heard that a stick shift is now available.

The 2009 Cayenne starts at about the mid 40k range and goes into the low 100k depending on the model and features. If you don’t want a Porsche SUV, the Carrera and Boxster are still winning choices to make you look totally hot cruisin around town.

I gotta admit that I really respect Porsche for sticking to what works. For decades now their cars have had the same classic look that we all seem to love and models that were available years back are still around… well, around with many new hi tech improvements to match the times.

So I guess this weekend Explore Talent is Hosting a party at One Sunset. The invites have been sent out to models, actors, casting agents, and many other industry pros.  The party is supposed to be a mixer for aspiring models, casting agents, directors and other industry folks.

They will also be casting for a reality TV shows there and 2 films. Sunset Tan will be there looking for a new girl, dancing with the stars will be there as well as Victoria’s Secret and Loreal.

The event looks like it will be a lot of fun… here is what the company sent out to their members

So another season of America’s Next Top Model is coming to an end. This week the final 3 girls will compete for the grand Prize of being America’s Next Top Model.

I gotta admit, this season of ANTM has been disappointing to me. Maybe it’s just too much of the same old thing, maybe it’s the disgusting sound of Tyra trying to sing on every show, maybe it’s the hypocrisy of it all ( a few seasons ago it was all about being a skinny model, diets and exercise, while this season Tyra is telling them to eat pizza and be themselves). Anyway, with each cycle I seem to lose more and more interest in the show.

On the brighter side of ANTM, Tyra seems to have lost the extra weight that made her look plain chubby before and is now showing off her trim self with way too many pics of her, such as the new Tyra Mail image… maybe she needed an ego boost.
