Now, to me this looks like Russia took a leap back a few centuries to the tutu and tights stage of renaissance mens wear, but hey, what do I know. Anyone thinking creepy prince in tights yet?

Christian Dior was born in Granuille in France in 1905. Dior died in 1957. His passion for fashion blossomed and he created many fashion sketches that he sold. Dior was offered to open his own couture house and he did. Dior´s first collection was full of small waisted full skirts and nicknamed the “new look” by the press.The “new look” came from the fact that it was away from the straight skirts that were in style during the WWII years.

Years later, the look continues at the house of Dior, as seen from the photos of the more recent Dior shows.

The photo of the green dress below is from the 2008 spring show, the hat, well that seems like a blast from the Christian Dior past.

Paris runway and Christian Dior - Who would have thunk it? 3 days to make a hair piece? Yep, seems that the Christian Dior Hair piece shown on model Chanel Iman was a bigger hit than the clothes she was wearing. The hair piece was all the rage and looking at this photo, I can see why. That is one stylish do, but, you may not want to try to re-create this one at home since it is a bit time consuming.

Should I repeat the above title? OK, I will. Yep, seems that horse hair is a workable material for clothing as the Givenchy line proves her. Now, whether it looks good or not, may be another matter. crazy fashion made of horse hair.

In the case of the following shoes, high fashion may just hurt,

Fashion craze or just plain crazy fashions. Now for the very … crazy shoes,  this little stylish and maybe deadly number is the so, not too popular,  porcupine spiked heels, if the heels don’t kill your feet, the spikes around them will for sure.

Now if your feet do not hurt from the crazy spiked heels with the porcupine quills sticking out as embellishments, you can try this fashionable pair of toe-less and sole-less crazy boots. They look fierce, high fashion model fierce, but hey, talk about having to watch your step as you walk.

Not into nutty shoes? how about a hat. Animal print elf cap. In the case of the hats, the fashion may only hurt the eyes
