So another season of America’s Next Top Model is coming to an end. This week the final 3 girls will compete for the grand Prize of being America’s Next Top Model.

I gotta admit, this season of ANTM has been disappointing to me. Maybe it’s just too much of the same old thing, maybe it’s the disgusting sound of Tyra trying to sing on every show, maybe it’s the hypocrisy of it all ( a few seasons ago it was all about being a skinny model, diets and exercise, while this season Tyra is telling them to eat pizza and be themselves). Anyway, with each cycle I seem to lose more and more interest in the show.

On the brighter side of ANTM, Tyra seems to have lost the extra weight that made her look plain chubby before and is now showing off her trim self with way too many pics of her, such as the new Tyra Mail image… maybe she needed an ego boost.

Now, I am disappointed in the America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11 TV shows for various reasons… boredom may be one of them but I really gotta wonder about Isis, the man on the show.

Isis is the tranny model that the producers brought in. Now, he is about 3″ shorter than most of the real women, has giant hands and feet, an adams apple, a horrible scrawny man’s body and not that great of a face… so I must question, What the hell is he doing on the show?

guess it’s for ratings since I would imagine they have been a droppin.

ANTM Tranny Isis

There is Isis at elimination, pretty easy to spot him, just look at the feet and lack of female curves. Now what puzzles me is that I read the application and agreement for  ANTM. If you want to audition for America’s Next Top Model, there are things you agree to such as living with 9 to 14 females in the same house. Also, ANTM has a list of requirements that state you must be a female 17 to 27 years of age… how did this one get past them?

I guess if the producers believe it may be entertaining and scandalous, they will slide by any rules.

BTW, I also watched the bikini episode of ANTM, which also sucked, but I guess it was entertaining to watch Isis squirm to cover up the manhood.

I still wonder exactly what the show was thinking. Would 17 magazine want a Transvestite man on their cover of wholesome U.S.A? or better yet, Cover Girl cosmetics? Talk about setting someone up to lose.  But hey, it makes great reality TV in a very unrealistic sence.

This video goes back a few seasons and this episode may have been one of the more awkward ones. This is the Nude Episode where the girls had to do a lesbian themed photo shoot.

Now, there have been other nude shoots, but in those the girls had some kind of costuming or body paint on. Anyway, this has become one of the more popular episodes of the show for obvious reasons.

Personally, I don’t get these kinds of fashion shoots. I mean, these girls want to be fashion models, as in modeling designer clothes for the designers. Posing nude has nothing to do with fashion or modeling. If the ladies wanted to pose nude and be gawked at by old men then they should have gone to Hugh Heffner and not Tyra Banks.  When was the last time you saw two lesbians on the covel of 17 Magazine? ahhh, never. I think the episode was in bad taste and unacceptable because the girls in question are teens and forced to do this to stay in the competition. If I was the parent of one of the teens and found out my daughter had to do a nude softcore lesbian porn scene in front of dozens of strange men… I would be pissed. Now add that the scene is all over the internet getting the most lewd and crude of sexual comments…. I would be livid.

The final four models must pair up and pose nude together in one of the most erotic photo shoots in America’s Next Top Model history. Yoanna & Shandi pose together first, followed by April & Mercedes. Mercedes is uncomfortable with the nudity and lesbian theme of the shoot, so her partner April tries to help her get through it.

Lesbian photo shoots aimed at seducing men should stay where they belong, the pages of playboy, penthouse, hustler, etc. Maybe in a few more seasons and a few more nude shoots the show can change its name to America’s next Top Porn Star.

Yep, seems the last season of the hit show Americas next top model crowned Whitney the winner. This seems so staged to me. I mean the show went 7 seasons with short and so called plus size models always getting a raw deal for being “just too short” and “just too fat” for fashion stardom.

Season after season we watched the always cast heavier girls get knocked out fairly early to a point where it seemed every season had to cast at least one short girl and one heavier girl as tokens of some sort or maybe as proof to critics that modeling is not about size 0.

So, I really gotta wonder how much the show needed a win by one of these “low chance of winning” contestants. We do always go for the underdog ya know.

Whitney is a cute girl, but America’s Next Top Model? Is she that stunning? Also, there have been many questions asked about whether she really is a plus size. A size 14? She looks much slimmer than that, but hey, you never know.

Whitney is cute in a very American South kinda way, but top fashion model? I don’t see it at all. my 2 cents of course.
