Here are the Victoria Secret models from last years Victorias Secret fashion show in Los Angeles. They are interviewed as they get off the plane. The entire episode is called Angeles at the city of angels with the 27 Victoria Secret models being the “Angels”.

Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Izabel Goulart,Miranda Kerr and Selita Ebanks, are a few of the huge names in modeling that are participating in the show.  All dressed in matching shiny pink jackets and looking awesome.

The models hit los angeles as they prepare for their big fashion show this coming week which has set performances by the “Spice Girls”, “Kanye West” and “Seal. The 27 angels landed from a Virgin America flight from New York City.

There is even a workshop called Hybrid Wearables Workshop, were  participants led by Jean-Baptiste Labrune and Dana Gordon. Not a keyboard for sending email from your pocket, but small solutions for everyday problems brought to you in the form of innovative wearable electronic fashion. The model below is wearing a dress that incorporates these stylish circuits within the dress.

The e-Pressed shirt has a series of switches which have embedded LEDS which light up when those pressure points need to be pressed. In the sleeve, the wearer can indicate which mood he is in by means of a hairpin. Later, the shirt should sense the wearer’s mood automatically.

Cat bag / cuddle bag

Are you lonely? Would you like a pet to comfort you, but would you like to avoid becoming a cat lady? Anouk Wipprecht, Nick Lesley, David Morgan and Hans-Gunter Lock made a cuddle bag for you- a functional handbag which doubles as a pet. Stroke it and it will purr, its eyes will light up, and it will warm you.

The cuddle bag has been implemented using soft fabric switches which activate the LED eyes, motors which emulate purring and sounds from encapsulated piezo speakers.

“We want to create a bag that can comfort you as a pet can do. The interaction is simple. You need to stroke the bag. The bag will then start breathing, it’s heart will start beating, it will give off warmth and make soothing sounds. The thing is, you can not feel the heart, breath and heat unless you hold the bag close to your body. Perhaps, when you hit your bag it give more aggressive sound.”

We wanted to make a prototype with a love material: a product that interacts with you - would give you love, that are sweet, breath, change, non-regular, Just like a pet. So you can ‘bound’ with your clothing. An feel good product. Doing great at stress situations, when you are alergic to animals, when you have an depression or after an break up. Something that you can can love out of when you’re in need of it. That is alive, that makes a noise, that sqeeks, makes happy sounds, purr when you are stroking/petting it, let you know of it’s excistence, blinks to you and give warmth and strenght.

Prada known for hi fashion handbags and shoes may now be known for animated shorts as well.

The company, originally known in Italy as “Prada Brothers”, was founded in 1913 by Mario Prada in Milan. In 1978, Mario’s granddaughter Miuccia Prada inherited what was still a leather goods business from her grandfather, and led the company’s expansion into clothing with an overall more bohemian style. Miu Miu is a second line of clothing, often simpler and evoking a continual image of high-end vintage items. It was followed by the Prada Sport ‘Linea Rossa’

Currently Prada is considered one of the most influential clothing designers in the fashion industry.

Fashion house produces animated short

To advertise its Spring/Summer 08 collection, the fashion house has produced a short film. In it, a blank-eyed nymph both models and interacts with the product: a couple of scuttling crabs become shoes and a fish transmogrifies into a handbag. Further blurring the lines between advertising and product, the illustrator behind the short – James Jean – has also worked on Prada prints and bags for this season, as well producing the backdrop for catwalk shows and in-store decoration.

And whilst we have absolutely NO IDEA what the film means, it sure beats the usual grumpy-looking models staring out from the pages of Vogue.

Check this out. Wow, its hard to even imagine how embarrassed Carmen Elektra may have been after taking a dive on the runway in this fashion show. I can’t help but giggle at this because it really is that funny. Nothing worse than trying to look “vogue” strutting down the catwalk and tripping on your own feet. Anyway Carmen took a dive at this fashion show. Not a model - esque moment for sure.

This is a very cool looking fashion show. The middle of this video looks awesome. The holograms fill the stage and turn into all sorts of shapes and then the models walk out again followed by the blue spirals. As creative and stunning as this may be I wonder if it takes away from the fashion show itself since I doubt anyone even notices who is wearing what. I gotta say I’m watching the holograms and not the fashion models.

OK ladies, high heels and size 0 clothing on the pencil thin top models. The ladies always look hot, in the tongue of the last “Project Runway” winner… plain Fierce. But this Valentino Show is a bit off now. Not sure really what bothers me so much about this one show.

At first look it’s not too bad, but for some reason I only notice a few things over and over, the funky greek looking strappy sandals everyone is wearing and bowed legs.
